There are three major steps one will need to take when looking to upload a photograph to the photo-storing/photo-sharing website, photobucket.com. The first is signing up to Photobucket; the next is selection of the photograph and last is the storing of it.You may wonder the benefits of using this service but will eventually find the answers for yourself.
The first step you must take before attempting to upload a photograph to Photobucket is to create your personal account with them. This account will store all of the photos (and videos) you will ever upload to the site and will allow you to organize, edit and share them with whomever you so choose. To create this account is a fairly simple task, there may be a lot involved to you but you will only have to do this once. Like with most sites, you need a user-name and a password. These will be required to be used anytime you want to log-in to your Photobucket account. You will receive an email with that information but should also make sure you have it recorded elsewhere and that it is easy to remember but not easy enough for anybody to know without you telling. They say a good password contains both letters and numbers and is, at least, eight characters long.
Next, they will ask your name (first and last) and email address. An email address is important to give so that Photobucket will be able to send you any news updates about the services the site offers. They don't spam you and don't flood your in-box but periodically, you will receive a message. Also, if you ever forget a password, they can send a new one to your email so that you can log-in and create another. They ask your gender, birth-date and area code (U.S. and Canada). As an option, you may provide your cell phone number but they say it's not necessary and that they will not call you. Last, enter the captcha, the box of letters, words or number combination. Type it just as you see it because it is case-sensitive, meaning spaces need to be where their spaces are and capital and lowercase letters should be exactly as in the picture. If you cannot determine what it says, click to get a new set or if you still can't, another option is the audio message. Type what you hear. Click to accept the terms of use and you will have been signed up. You will be offered the opportunity to go Pro but can decline and will always be able to upgrade at any later time.
Now that you've created your Photobucket account,
