Why The Legend of Dragoon has not received a sequel

Remembering Legend of Dragoon and wondering why there hasn't been another one made is a great mystery. It actually was a pretty solid game only if you are into RPGs. It is a game that was out for the PlayStation and has yet to really not even a remake of it or even involved with the PlayStation Network. There could be some factors into why that hasn’t happened yet and it makes you wonder what the mind set is in that respect.

One of the factors might have had something to do with not being able to come up with a plot to follow up from the previous game. Thinking about it, would there have been a plot that would have worked? The only thing that might have made sense would be to follow up what happened to Dart and also the story of the Dragoon being passed down possibly in the future. When thinking about it, that might be the only way to really get a good vibe on what to expect in that sense.

Perhaps it might have had something to do with the sales of the game when it first came out. It should be noted that it didn’t sell horrendously but maybe there just didn’t seem to be any involved with going for more money. Sometimes it may not have been a moneymaker at that time. Just because it may not have done it the first item doesn’t mean it can’t be done. Maybe if a remake is done it could do the trick and really make it seem a lot better than when it originally came out.

Perhaps it might have had to do with the game play with the combo system asking for it to be so precise that it is unbelievable. The hard part is at times pulling off combinations to get it right. It can be tricky but sometimes it can be rewarding. Of course, there are experience points and of course the Dragoon Power is also into the game making it seem a bit easier in combat. It should be wise to use it when necessary and not use it for the sake of using it in battle.

Should get it a sequel? It would be wise to consider it nevertheless. There should be a remake of it made for some people who may not have ever seen it. The Legend of Dragoon should also be put on the PlayStation Network and if it does well, then by all means consider making a sequel but be sure to do what is necessary to improve it and maybe the combo system could be not so difficult.
