Poetry: Excitement

by HARLEM SALLE

Created on: January 11, 2010

That feeling of excitement

The energy that flows through

When one knows

Life is exciting too

The adrenaline rush, that on edge buzz

We cherish those times

And make them the best

With all our heart and souls

Our minds made up

Our lives to the test

I woke one day, bored and annoyed

Excitement gone, so subdued

Nothing to do

Just the tedious and the boring

Struggle of the life we live

Where's the excitement gone

Look at that over there, an empty LAPD cop car

Right, I'm going to steal it

I don't care

Cause its better than this tediousness
