With me, I have many games that have changed my life in one way or another, as silly as that sounds. Some games strike me in such ways that leave fantastic memories behind. Here’s my life of games that are both my favorites, and have had some sort of impact in one way or another. All of these games I could play over and over again.
FOR SNES:
Chrono Trigger – A classic. One of the most highly regarded game for SNES. I’ve had great memories with this game. The story line is fantastic. The graphics and music are beautiful, the character development is fantastic. The way the characters go through time and the emotion with this game really grew on me. I have an emotional attachment to this game because of all this.
Tales of Phantasia – One game not many people know about that is fantastic. The graphics are beautiful, the music is beautiful, the characters are wonderful. This is one of those games where the character development is well built, the storyline is wonderful, and it flows nicely with gameplay. The walk-in battles aren’t too annoying either.
Final Fantasy VI – Another great story. The graphics are pretty good, nowhere near the first two listed. There are so many characters in this one. It’s such a long game and each character, despite their flaws, come together to form a perfect story. The walk in battles tend to get a little annoying, but it can be overlooked with how great this game is
FOR GENESIS:
Shining Force – My favorite game of all time. I played this game when I had Sega Smashpack 2. I still remember the night I first played this game. I had played Sonic the Hedgehog for a while and wanted to see the other games in this pack. Exploring the town was so interesting, so was talking to people, and getting your party together. The battles weren’t annoying either. The story along with it was so interesting. Despite its low graphics, I love this game.
Sonic the Hedgehog – A classic. It took me YEARS to beat this game, honestly. It got so annoying. One night, not too long ago, I finally beat it and I was extremely happy. Then we bought an actual Genesis and I would to play this game on 2 player with my brother. I’d always choose to be Tails. Tails was my favorite. I used to watch the show that used to come on, and that was when I was in about 3rd grade. Hard to believe it was that long ago that I played this and Shining Force.
For PC:
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion – The world
