we met one day,
a summer's day at a friend's place,
we hit it off right from the start,
who would have thought that we would have made it this far,
we stood together through friends and family,
friends who said we were not meant to be,
family who tried to split us up,
we stood together and fought for our love,
today you asked me if i would marry you,
today I said yes,
for our love for each other will last ,
and show through our children.

The shine in your eye bounced off

Time slowly rolls almost to a stop
Whenever you are near to me
Seconds creep past like a thousand years
Right next to you
we met one day,
a summer's day at a friend's place,
we hit it off right from the start,
who would have thought that we would
Butterfly wings gently flutter around my heart
Songbirds sing sweet notes in reach of my ears
Fragrances of flowers
by Shannon Lisa
My heart gently whispers secrets and truths into my soul
Like sweet dew drops growing on flowers in the moonlight
