First off, if we want to know who Kimberly and Clark is we have to go back in time for a little bit of a history lesson.

It all started back in 1872 when four businessmen, John A Kimberly, Havilah Babcock, Charles B Clark, and Frank C. Shattuck joined as partners in a Wisconsin village and assembled a modest sum of $30,000 to institute the Kimberly, Clark and Co. These are the initial people who started the Kimberly and Clark Co. Which is now one of the largest paper production corporations in the entire world. Kimberly and Clark are on a Global scale, they have established themselves in over 154 countries. This company is a multi billion dollar business and its all thanks to those four men back in 1872. Now if your still wondering to yourself, if this company is so big why haven't I heard of it? Sure you have! Let me name a few products that this company produces and perhaps it will jog your memory, no wait I'll just give you a list! Cottonelle, Depend, Goodnites, Huggies, Kleenex, Kotex, Little Swimmers, Poise, Pull-Ups, Scott, Viva just to name a few. Did you get the picture yet? Just think that every time your sick and have a cold you go to the store to buy a box of Kleenex to blow that little nose of yours. So don't you think you owe a big thank you to Kimberly and Clark Co. for their innovative paper products. Why, what would you wipe your little tushy with after using the toilet?! Their passion for improving the health and hygiene of people has driven them to develope these following consumer products: facial tissue, paper towels, toilet paper on a roll, feminine pads and disposable training pants. But I have to wonder do they really care about us that much or is it more about the big bucks? But I also have to wonder, how can Kimberly and Clark CO. continue to supply the world with these disposable products when there is 6 billion people in the world and climbing!? So where are they going to get the paper from? Yep you guessed it! TREES, LOTS and LOTS of TREES!

Lets take a little closer look at what Kimberly and Clark Co. are doing to our planet by selling us these fine products that we have grown to love and quite possibly can't do without. Lets take a look a little bit on what Greenpeace has to say about Kimberly and Clark Co.

"Boreal Forest, Canada - Kimberly-Clark is the largest tissue product company in the world, making brands such as Kleenex. But every time you flush a piece of Kleenex toilet paper you're also flushing away Canada's oldest forests."
