It has oft been stated
That man’s best friend
Is the much celebrated
Canine trend
Some say the wife
Fits that category
His partner in life
That’s another story
Others say it’s a brother
Of the same blood and skin
Or it could be another
Who’s not even kin
My theory on this is terse
I think it is DOG in reverse
You may think it odd
But man’s best friend is GOD
