Poetry: Young love

by Amy Alves

Created on: January 10, 2010

Love.:

.

this love was so sweet

young in age and  so weak

.

before i had not a need to write

for writing was when i was sad

and as long as i held him in my arms for the night

the world didn't seem so bad

.

yet i can still remember his scent

his two colored eyes

his skin almost floresent

the image sets me to cry

.

i remember the first kiss

so bright and full of bliss

.

i remember the last kiss

desperate. i never wanted to let go of it

.

it was christmas when you left

you took a part of me and left the rest a mess

.

i fell in love.

i fell in love.

i fell in love.

.

i remember the movements

the smallest of words.

i remember the scenery the flew over our heads

i remember laying, crying in bed.

.

i hope you fell in love with your city

my young love.

you hurt me so much.

.

because you were the whole purpose for everything.

you are my everything.

and you disrupted the balance.

and you left.

and you left.

and you left.

.
