Poetry: Global warming

Global Warming Boogie-woogie

Hop, hop, hop on your big jet

Race, race, race- lest the world forget.

Warn them all, they are doomed

If they don't buy the words you say.

Drum, drum, drum- beat the news feed,

Can't stop now, must make them all see.

If they refuse, you won't be able to

Expand your wealth today.

Stay, stay, stay- in the limelight

Don't say no- It's the good fight.

Won’t be long before you can buy

That private island in the sun.

Dance, dance, dance- beat the death drums

Global warming- must convince them.

They must stop overpopulation-

Use euthanasia and abortion.

Shivering-in the cold night

Sell, sell, sell- your new book from

The inner sanctum of your island,

Away from the cold that invalidates your theorem.

But it won't matter, cause you've already

Made your billions, and retired

To the accolades of your imagination.
