I saw a swan at midnight
The moon was red and bright
She had an air of majesty about her
As she passed me by that night
Her pure white feathers contrasting
With the redness of the midnight moon
Leaving me with a remembering sight, all so much in tune
With her gracefulness, the still of the night, leaving me wanting more
Highlighting her magnificence, to a degree of inspiring awe.
Then she was gone that swan
Leaving me, with the midnight moon
Reflecting upon the deep
It slowly sank into the murky depths
that magical night in June
