In order to answer such a question, we should ask ourselves whether these kinds of crimes occur everywhere in the world at the same rate. I am not a smart person, but I do know that these random killings occur mostly in America. I do watch the news, but not any news.

I watch the kind of news that talk about what is happening in the whole world rather than just what's happening in our own backyards. And what I realized is that such shootings and random killings happen mostly in America. If you do simple math, you can easily connect the dots and solve the problem.

You will come to the conclusion that these murders are happening because of gun laws that allow gun ownership to anybody with minimum or no restrictions at all.

Violent TV and video games are not to blame at all. If they were to blame, how come other countries do not have the same problem. Canada, France, England, Switzerland, and many more do not have this problem, although people over there do have and watch violence on TV video games.

They also do have depressed and mentally unstable people but they seldom get to the point of shooting at people randomly just because they are mentally sick, or just because they have personal or financial problems. Why they do not do so? The answer is simple. It's because, unlike in America,  they CANNOT easily buy guns.

It is also because in America, when you want to buy a gun, nobody will do a background check or anything of that sort to make sure they are not selling the gun to an ex-convict or a mentally troubled person. They will just sell you the gun like you were in the grocery shop getting some fresh vegetables or some soda! It is sad but it is the truth.

Another reason why there is so much violence in America is that some parents do not take full responsibility in raising their kids. In fact, many teenagers are left alone at home after school hours because their parents at still at work.

These kids can easily get in trouble with other teenagers without the knowledge of their parents. They can get involved in drugs, in gangs, and worse in crimes, especially that guns are easy to get. We all know about the teenage boys who were involved in the Columbine high school shooting.

It was discovered that these boys planned the crime in their own bedrooms and simply put their guns in their closets. If one of the parents had just opened their boys' bedrooms, the shooting could have easily been avoided.

Is it easy to get rid of this problem? I believe so. I believe that with the help of the government and all the powerful authorities, we can decrease gun use and put pressure on gun lobbyistes to make them understand once and for all that they can no longer make money and get wealthier over the lives of innocent people. Until then, we can always pray and hope for the best.
