On an off chance that you haven't ever heard of Photobucket.com, it is one of the top image hosting websites. Uploading a photograph to Photobucket takes hardly any effort, and best of all it is free. You will of course need to create an account, if you haven't already done so. Don't worry that process is pretty quick as well. If you want you can create different albums to put the photos in, or just upload them straight and then organize later on. Photobucket also offers five different locations to choose from when deciding where you want to get your photos from.
Before trying to upload the photos to a Photobucket account, especially if you have quite a bit of them, you should probably organize them by putting them all into one folder on your computer. It just provides for easier access and less time spent searching for them. Now that you have that taken care of its time to create your account with Photobucket and then log in.
Once you are logged in and on the "My Home" page you will see gray box towards the top with a big blue "Upload Videos and Images" button. Under the button there is a link to a bulk uploader, if you want to upload more than one photo at the same time. If you opt for this you will get a small pop up window asking your permission to run the application, allow it. After that a page should load with a list of folders on your computer on the left side, and the contents of each selected folder displaying to the right of it. To select a file simply click on it and it will drop down into the upload box where you can also add the descriptions and such right away. If you have a folder on your computer for instance and you want all the photos in it uploaded you do not need to select each photo individually, just click the "Select all" link on top of the list. Once you have all the desired photos selected just click the big blue "Upload" button on the lower right hand side.
If you wish to upload just one photo from your computer then, on the "My Home" page, just make sure that in the upload box you have "Computer" selected to the right and click the big blue "Upload Videos and Images" button. This will bring you a typical pop up window with a list of your computers files and folders, just select a photo you wish to upload and press "Open".
There are other sources for you to upload pictures from onto your Photobucket account. If you select the "Mobile Phone" option it will direct you on where to send a picture message from your phone in order for it to show up on your Photobucket. The "Email" option works pretty much the same. Selecting the "Web URL" will give you three spaces in which to enter links of the photos you want stored on your Photobucket. If you want to use the Ask Toolbar you will have to install the toolbar to your computer and then use it to upload photos.
The above ways pretty much cover the various ways you can get your photographs onto your Photobucket.com account.
