Children swimming happily in the azure pool
Free with holidays and not working at school
Mums and Dads easily soaking up the golden sun
Teenagers giggling and looking out for fun
Water glistens lazy blue and vastly wide
Sun beats down on front, back and side
Hot day’s end comes with all tired out
All the crowd has gone there’s no one about
