Didn't hear what you said,
You hung up without a word.
You say hey,
I say what,
You're supposed to answer, not hang up.
I go around,
Talking to you,
Pouring my heart out,
About a big mornings events.
And yet you still stay silent in the distance.
I told you everything,
And you were silent.
I said your name a few times,
And you just stayed quiet.
What's the deal?
Why aren't you here?
You just lay in your bed,
Quietly ignoring me.
And I continue talking,
Wondering ignorantly if you're even listening to me.
Then you hang up while I'm still here,
And I keep calling,
But it's not to your cheer.
You pass me to voice-mail,
And yet I’m still sitting here.
What the heck?
Thought I deserved a little more respect.

I never thought I would have to ask
For respect,

Freedom took the liberty

walk away from the world's
