Photobucket.com, in my experience, is one of the most simple to use and absolutely user friendly photo uploading websites out there. Before you can upload a photo to the site of course, you have to have an account. If you don't, click the green button that says "Join Now - It's Free" and then you can start almost right away with the process of uploading your photos. Just take a few minutes to start your new free account and then come back to this article.
If you already have an account, login at the main page now. Put in your username and password and you're good to go.
Now, do you want to upload your photo to the main album, or in one of your sub albums? In my current photobucket account I have three sub albums. The picture I'm uploading is of one of my family cats, so I click the sub album that says "Cats" so that the photo loads in the proper place. If you just want to load the photo into the main album, go straight to the next step without clicking any of the sub albums at all!
See the large blue button that says "Upload Images and Videos"? Click that. Now it's time for a little detective work, especially if your photo folders are cluttered. Pick out the photo or photos that you want. If you are planning on uploading more than one photo, click on the photo while holding down the CTRL button. That way you can pick as many as you want! It saves time if you are uploading a large amount of photos to click several at a time, or even a whole batch.
I choose two pictures I want to upload. It starts to upload immediately so just wait for it. You can see how far it has uploaded by the percentage that is showing right in front of you.
When it hits 100 percent, you are given the option to tag and title your photo. I title the photos and add some tags so that they are searchable. Now I have the option to save and go back to my album or save and get links. Get the links if you want to post your pictures somewhere.
Now you uploaded a photo to photobucket and you can do so many times in the futurre. Simple and easy - just the reason I love photobucket.
