Poetry: Hats, mittens & scarves

by Doug Clore

Created on: January 06, 2010

Repeating slowly, sotto voce,
Hats...Mittens...and Scarves.
How hard can it really be?
There's only four of them,
And one great big old me.
Hats, Mittens, and Scarves.
We're making progress now.
Two ready, almost three,
Wonder where that fourth one went?
Hats, Mittens, and Scarves.
My Lord, I think I've done it!
We're going out to play.
Ms Smith I have to use it.
Well of course you do,
And so do you, and you.
Repeating slowly, sotto voce
Hats...Mittens...and Scarves.
