It is great and easy to find gifts for movie buffs as their interest is clear and consistent! Here are some ideas.

A Box Set DVD of their favorite movies, for example the complete Star Wars Collection. If you’re feeling especially giving, how about including an adult-size light saber? Prepaid Gift Certificates to movie theatres chains that he or she could watch at their leisure. Popcorn and drinks vouchers to accompany their movie experience Movie paraphernalia of their favorite movie such as tee shirts, hooded jackets, notebooks, backpacks, pens, playing cards or even underwear! Vintage movie posters for the vintage movie buff. If you feel more generous, how about covering the cost of framing the poster and the installation as well? A guided tour of New York City ala Sex and The City, with pit stops to the stores and cafes that the characters go to.

And while you’re at it, how about the “Carrie” pendant with their name as well? Throw a themed party for them on their behalf, in the style of a movie, such as The Matrix, where every one is giving blue or red cocktails, and it is compulsory to wear black trench coats and sunglasses. The books that the movie is based on, for instance Eat Pray Love, Narnia, etc. A trip to Universal Studios in Los Angeles, or Movies World in Gold Coast, Australia where they can view the set live, and have a good time experiencing the in and outs of movie making!

And the most wonderful gift of all - a trip to the actual filming location in the country that the scenes of their favorite movies or TV show were filmed, such as Nami Island, Korea for Winter Sonata (Korean soap drama), New Zealand to enjoy the rolling meadows of Middle Kingdom in Lord of the Rings. Ubud, Bali the set of the upcoming movie Eat Pray Love starring Julia Roberts Darwin, Australia, where Nicole Kidman starred in the epic of the same name Las Vegas, where numerous films such as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, What Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas, The Hangover, etc were based on Johannesburg, South Africa, where the sci-fi District 9 was shot. Phi Phi Island, Thailand, where The Beach featuring Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed. Tokyo, Japan, where Scarlett Johansson acted in the film Lost in Translation Angkor Wat, Cambodia, where Angelina Jolie acted in Tomb Raider

The final tip is to watch a show that they love, where you could get some idea on how to re-enact a scene, or find some element that they love in the film and make a gift out of it for the movie buff!
