Nature and all its beauty is around us daily. From the birds singing overhead, to the trees blowing in the wind we are always in the midst of this remarkable beauty that can sometimes be taken for granted. The snow blankets the scenery in the winter. and the leaves reappear on the tress in spring. The ocean tides that cool our sun baked bodies in the summer, to the multi colored leaves that drop off the tress in fall, we are always reminded of the breath taking occurrences that make our seasons special.
Nature has played a major role in my development, although I grew up a city girl. I always enjoyed the beauty around me. The snow all white and pure was a gift from heaven. As a child putting on goulashes and winter gear to play in this beautiful cold treat was a happy experience of fun, and laughter with family, and friends. Making snowmen to look expressive, and share the attire of winter, all donned with a scarf, and hat made the season alive and animated.
Spring with the chirping of birds, who found their way back from the warmth of a hotter climate, woke me up many times as dawn welcomed in a new day. The feeling of life around me, as God's creatures played a big part in ushering in another day of beauty. The flowers bloomed after their slumber. The fragrance, and many varieties of the buds that blossomed, added a special hue to the viewing area. The aroma of flowers blooming and the scents of the season makes me feel at peace with my surroundings.
The ocean was always a special treat when visited on a hot summer day. The waves with blue, and white foam were always a sight to behold, as the flow continues endlessly. The incredible tide was always welcoming to a warm body basking in the sun. The sounds of the waves crashing on the shore was something that left me feeling alive, and contented. The salt filled air, was also tasty to the pallet as the light wind tossed around the ocean water. The experience of watching the ocean and feeling all its beauty can be cathatic and appealing to all the senses.
When the nip of coolness was in the air I knew that Fall was upon me. The leaves were busy, changing colors, and dropping from their trees. The streets were filled with red, orange, brown, and red leaves of beauty. Sometimes they were blended colored which stood out for their uniqueness. I marveled in collecting the many beautiful leaves for school projects that brought together the beauty of the season. The days would get a little shorter, and the coziness of being warm and snuggly was conductive to the soul. Relaxing at home on a cool , crisp night sipping hot cider was a comforting experience that eased the tension of the troubles that plagued me.
I have many good memories of nature, and the seasons. Each season reminds us of the remarkable way our world renews itself, and continues to begin again , when one season comes to a close. I can not help but think of how a higher Being created the beauty all around . God has made a beautiful world for us to enjoy, and be part of. Nature and human beings are meant to live together harmoniously. People should always be respectful of the environment, and be in awe of the wonderful surroundings around them. This symbiotic relationship benefits the world as a whole. Each person can relax, and find peace in the beautiful world we are a part of.
