Poetry: Words you'll never read

by Ryan Athorn

Two Halves Of One Evil

With your magic and your majesty,
Our skeletal telepathy,
You were the wings upon my back,
The original double act.

Time would bring a triplet,
We'll be weary of the quartet,
I'll savour every memory,
My best friend, now favoured enemy.

A freindly face amongst the crowds,
And when my heads is in the clouds,
It was good to know you were aware,
And that my other half was there.

We were side by side for days,
And though our paths have parted ways,
I'm glad you travelled mine, our hearts beat the same time.
