Will President Bush fix our economy?

President Bush can't fix our economy, so long as the country is at war. War was only beneficial to the economy when we were trying to pull it out of the murky depths of the depression. As we know, Bush has elected to stay the course in Iraq, Afghanistan, and every nook and cranny of the globe we've delegated as hot zones of national concern. So ideologically, Bush is incapable of seeing that the economy would be bolstered by pulling out of the war in Iraq.
However, let's not lose sight that the economy necessarily is at any critical point. Gas prices are high, but there is no shortage of gas. The stock market has suffered losses but not collapsed. America has slipped in its position in the world market but is still not a third-world nation. Should other nations "call in our debts one day", it would be wise not to forget that we helped extensively to rebuild Europe and Japan after World War II. So, no President Bush will not fix our economy, but do you really need to fix what isn't broken? That should be the real question put forth.
