        THE STRANGER

There's a stranger in my heart.

Since the first night we met, I knew right from the start there was nothing I could do but let him in.

He has these piercing eyes and when he looks, it seems, he sees right through.

There's this feeling I can't explain. I go back to being young again. I've been told that's what love can do.

But I'm old enough to know these feelings are insane. That's when this stranger looks at me as only he can do.

Does this stranger have a name?

If I share will the feelings stay the same?

I guess I won't say his name this feelings mine and I like it that way.

Now this strangers in my head and night after night I dream of him in my bed.

The day will  come I know when I'll have to let this stranger go.

He really can't belong to me and me,  well I'm married I certainly can't belong to him.

But how I'll love the memory this stranger has left for me, the night he touched my heart.
