Helpful tactics to maximize profits when writing Helium Marketplace articles

Helium Market place is where a writer has a fair chance of getting paid at “near market rates” as deserved by a good freelance writer. While a 5-star writer in Helium can get $2.5  for a 500-word “eligible” article, the same writer, if he happens to “win” at the market place, can get generally anywhere from $20 to $32 for the article of same length, depending on what the publisher offers.

There are also Helium Marketplace publishers who pay $80, $120 etc for longer and more niche-content articles. If a writer is interested in maximizing profits when writing Helium market place articles, it is only natural that he concentrates to write on these articles. But will it prove to be a successful strategy? Not always! Why? Because when stakes are high, competition too is high and there are always chances that a writer loses out amidst excess competition.

So, one strategy to follow in market place articles is to attempt and write to titles which are not too-big payers, but where the competition is not too large.

If one wants to learn some good tactics to “maximize profits” when writing market place articles, it primarily calls for one’s effort to maximize the writing quality, content and efforts in meeting the publisher’s specific content requirements (like key word optimization, key word density and other such SEO needs) with an aim to out-beat the competition. A good time spent in research, a good writing style, a good grasp of the subject being written etc are the added requirements for the writer.

But a good strategy should include a “what if” fall back just in case the article does not get selected. In other words, if your article does not get selected, are you still getting something out of your article? That, in a way, is definitely a strategy to “maximize profits” off your market place article!

For that here are some tips:

1) Be wary of writing to a marketplace title that will not transition to Helium.  If you could win the title, well and good, but your writing effort goes into drain, virtually, if your article does not get selected.

2) Make sure that the Marketplace title you intend to write which will transition to Helium is within “eligible channels” for upfront payment. Make sure that your article is within the first five in count. This way, you are ensuring that you will get your “upfront payment” for the article, if your article transitions
