The Chance To Be Free
In my life, I live in
in fear of many things
of the choices I do or do not make
the mistakes it can bring
to overcome the fears
I live with everyday
is to open up my heart and pray
not a paranoid person
I am the same as many of you
living my life to please
being controlled with ease
a hard habit to break in two
small steps that I take
for the chance to be free
of overcoming the past
so it doesn't take hold of me
gather ' round positive friends and family
to empower and encourage me
to be free to be... me

by Ed Ostrom

Hounded by shame and inner on going strife,
Anger rises up and floods
