MY COMPLICATED HEART
It's complicated,
I can't explain.
In love, I think,
refrain
It's not lust,
that's easy.
Makes my tummy feel,
all breezy.
It's love.
Again,
the pain,
to separate,
even for a minute,
putting the phone down
and disconnecting from your..
voice,
soul, heart, breathe.
It's love,
catch the wisp of something
passing over my heart.
Love,
sweet refrain,
speeding bullet past an express train.
Catch myself,
falling over the tracks of a thousand kisses
and pauses in the night.
Whew, sigh....
the sparkle of my eye as you arrive in my bed.
To never ever leave.....
it's love,
not lust and it's here.
