As the full moon announces the strike of midnight
A world of wishes will escape to the sky.
A world of kisses upon the moments of another New Year.
As we close this evening with hopefully all who we hold dear.
Around the room glasses clink and people will cheer
As words and blessings pass cheerfully from ear to ear.
Another new year dawns freshly with the morning light.
Another year of fresh starts we all have in sight.
As a world of kisses and well wishes lay heads to rest tonight
A morning dawn will seal those wishes safely in the hands of the light.
