CHRISTMAS EVE: THE LITTLE WHITEHOUSE PRAYERS
(WRITTEN FOR MALIA AND SASHA0
Dearest Lord Jesus,
Our daddy is a good man,
He does the best he can.
To fix all the problems with his two hands,
Like my new bike, Barbie dolls, scrapes and scratches,
He reads us books and...
Wipes away our tears,
The Little One's Prayer
Dear Jesus, and all the Angels,
Keep my daddy safe today,
There's big peole,
Little people,
Grammas,grampas and children,
Counting on my daddy today,
He's the leader of the country,
The best country on the earth!
I'm proud to share my daddy,
I've known him since my birth.
He has a lot of work to do,
He has to make some rules,
Daddy always told us,
Making things work takes a lot sometimes,
Wisdom is the greatest tool,
He also said it's much better,
To really take our time.
It's not who's fastes at it,
It's who gets the new way right !
So Jesus, help our daddy,
His job is very hard,
He wants to help the soldiers,
But keep them safe from harm,
Every soldier is a daddy,
To a mommy too!
A brother,sister a best friend,
Of someone here back home.
Their job is very scarey,They went so brave they did,
Daddy wants them return safe,
Especially around Christmas,
Just to hold To hold their little kids,
We live in the Whitehouse,
I don't mean to make this long,
I want everyone to know,
My daddy is very strong.
We hope that it's okay,
To share the words we pray,
Our daddy is our daddy,
He needs our love each day,
We pray for everyone .
Mamma, Gramma, Aunt Hillary,
Our Democratic and Republican Uncles,
And all the people who help daddy do his job.
Especially our brave troops,
They need our prayers a lot,
Because of them it's their because of them , the freedom that we got.
Merry Christmas Daddy, and America too,
We love our Christmas Freedom, We love America ,
All of it.
In Jesus name Sasha
He calms our little fears.
Help him Jesus, when he turns to You,
You see, he's the President,
With so many things to do!
There's a lot more troubles,
In the world today, so many decisions come his way,
He starts each day at the breadfast table,
He loves this country, and he loves You,
Without You he is not able,
To help the people, but with you he's able,
All he ever wants is Peace,
"Sweet Peace", withheld by faith,
It takes a lot of thinking, caring and You,
To guide this great country through.
Sometimes we get it right, sometimes wrong,
The greatest sin, with the freedom we possess,
Is to do nothing at all.
Our dear daddy is our President,
The leader of this land,
'Til we meet again for supper,
With our thank you, our two hands!
The oldest Obama girl.
