Her only comfort she finds in herself.
Her ears have become deaf to the screaming.
Her eyes have become drained of tears.
Her smile has become forced and fake.
Her laugh has become non-existent.
Her heart has shattered,
Her spirit broken.
Her hands cover her face,
as her hope slowly dwindles away.
