How to find a missing pet

I got to admit that our dogs are just like a couple kids. My wife and I can lovingly take care of them. That has helped us both get physically fit. One doesn't get over weight while taking a dog out to some lake or around a pasture. Our dogs have actually increased our home security. One doesn't have to purchase some expensive alarm system. A couple of barking dogs allows any home owner to grab his double barrel shot gun in full preparation. No intruder can catch you off guard. You are more prone to survive any death threat.

It's just that most breads of dogs are no fully born as a watch dog. Some of them tend to be loving and wag their tails at strangers instead of bark fiercely like the father and mother had. Dog owners must watch out and make sure they feed their watch dogs the same biscuit. That way they are less prone to be poisoned when some thief throws a poisoned dog biscuit into the dog run. Most watch dog owners tend to keep strangers away from their watch dog puppies so they will not start becoming friendly with them. That loosens the barking alarm.

I'm having to bring up these dog owner concerns because my wife and I have just lost one of our dogs. My wife had taken both of our dogs to the Clayton state park to exercise them around the lake. It's just that when she got back home the youngest one was missing. I had to drive our pickup back out the the Clayton lake so my wife could use some binoculars and search off into the fields along side the road. When we returned to town my wife had me trace the route she drove home through. She even had me drive down just about every side route. It was starting to get dark so I just took my wife home where she could cry in pain. I on the other hand just couldn't give every thing up. That's why I walked all those blocks on the north west side of Clayton. Since it was dark I had to call our puppy as harshly as I could. I could even slap my hands that way as well. One could tell my voice carried a long ways. Most of the dogs in that part of town barked heavily at me. One of the wild cats we take care of in our barn tried to follow me. She just found me when I was about a block away from our cattle guard.

That initial failure made us hope our puppy had been picked up by some passing driver. Some person that had thought she might get run over. We knew our pup could have run far enough out of town to end up spending the night in someones barn or horse pin. That inspired my wife to write down all the following information.
