Promise’s To You

A promise is a special thing

Not meant to be thrown about

So these words I freely give to you

To promise forever with out a doubt

I promise to be your best friend

In good times and in bad

To watch over you and keep you safe

When your happy or even when your sad

I promise to be there for you

No matter what may come

To love and cherish you and

Show you where true happiness comes from

I promise to give you sunshine

Even when it rains

To protect and shield you

When there’s heartache and pain

A promise can be empty if it’s just

A bunch of scattered words

But my promise is true and sincere

For its secret, the Angels have truly heard

That I give this promise freely

From my heart and to your soul

Life is short and Love is sweet

So to you, always and a day

The promises given here

 I pledge to forever keep…..
