Pirouette on Carousel
I penetrate the mist; what's there?
A heart with dreams immune to cares.
Behold such grace of life at play;
I dance with youthful yesterday.
The pirouette on carousel
A spinning life, so soon I fell.
Reclaim the balance of lost ways;
I dance with youthful yesterday.
Perfected form of elegance
Replaced by foolish arrogance.
If only I had simply stayed;
I dance with youthful yesterday.
What I would give to stand tiptoe
Upon the edge of dreams once known.
Just travel back to far away;
I dance with youthful yesterday.

Poetry: Dancing
Dance
It was only a seaside cafe,
My soul a tendril reaching out
Eagerly cleaving to the silhouette,
Standing on a table near
A Balinese Dancer
Exotic and alluring,
Each movement casts its spell,
Evoking myths and legends,
Such dramas she can tell.
Swaying
DOES HE LIKE TO DANCE
Quiet moments are elusive
Fear born of loneliness is obtrusive
In our fast paced world

Pirouette on Carousel
I penetrate the mist; what's there?
A heart with dreams immune to cares.
Behold such grace of life
On high tip toes
She stretches her leg in the air
The audience is silent
As they mesmerizingly stare
With a twist of the wrist
