It's that time of year again. Everyone is desperate to get home for the holidays, and the roads are a nightmare to travel on. What could be worse? Well, imagine your car maul functioning in the middle of your journey, that would certainly make that nightmare journey home slightly more stressful. The best thing to do when facing one of those long haul journey's that we all dread is to prepare. Prepare for any mishaps, or any problems that your car may throw at you, just to make that journey a bit more fun. It always happens at the worst possible time, in the worst possible place, but fear not. As long as you are prepared then you can face any problems with ease and continue on your way!  Here are the most common problems that occur on journeys. All of them can be somewhat unnerving, but fear not, they are all easily fixed and the best way to be prepared is to just stay calm. As long as you have the equipment and the patience and persistence then you will be fine!

Though this item may seem an obvious one when changing a tire, it is surprising how many people will forget to travel with one on a long distance trip. Everyone should have a spare tire, those who don't are asking for trouble!

* A Wheel Wrench

A Wheel Wrench is a tool that all drivers should posses. Many people will not have a clue what this is by name, but will recognise the tool itself. It is a type of socket wrench that is used to loosen or tighten lug nuts on a car wheel. Definitely an important tool for your travels!

* A Jack

A Jack? What's a Jack?! The common reaction, but as with the Wheel Wrench, most drivers will recognise this item by appearance rather than name. A Jack is a tool that is used to lift heavy objects through pressure, usually via a hydraulic cylinder. You will definitely need one of these in order to change your newly flat tire.

So, You have all the tools, great. What to do next though? Well, it's time to get started on that troublesome tire in order to continue with your journey. The
