If love had eyes
oh eyes like mine
it would pick out all the folds and lines
on skin and nose and ears
and eyes
would not hold beauty cause they're yours
it needs to see through, what lies behind

Love is blinded by beauty,
Embracing lust that passion has melt,
Coming from the pledge of loyalty,
Emotions are buried
It was then,
when she could only chase him with her eyes as he ran away,
and use her gaze to hold on to the golden skin,
I don't hear when he sings out of tune.
I keep silent when he does a faux pas
or his shirt doesn't go with his pants.
