Does the gym scare you? Are you too poor to afford exercise equipment? Don’t worry; if any of these things describes you, there is nothing to be scared of. You can still get in shape. Whether you can afford your own gym complex or not, you can still afford to get fit.

Like everyone, you too can get a lean body. If you didn’t know already, your body is like a portable gym ready to get you in shape whenever you feel like it. You just need to do the right workouts in the right proportions while keeping yourself nourished with the right nutrients, and you will get fit as soon as- okay, it’s going to take some time to get a beach body (at least six months), but you should be able to transform your body.

So what kind of workouts can you do without any equipment involved while getting yourself into shape? Here is a list:

Arms:

Push Ups- No one wants to do these, but doing pushups can make a difference in your arms. To do pushups, balance yourself on your hands and toes. Keep your arms straight as you prepare to go down. When you go down, make sure you go down low enough. If you want to do a perfect pushup, make sure your biceps are parallel to the ground when you are down. Stay in this position for three seconds, and then lift yourself up.

To increase the intensity of the exercise, just raise your feet to a higher elevation. Try raising them two inches higher off of the ground each time you want to raise the intensity.

Yoga Push-Ups – Doing Yoga pushups are really good for your triceps. These work your triceps like crazy, just as much as regular pushups do to your biceps. Just do the same thing you do for pushups, only pull your arms closer together than them.

Just like regular pushups, just raise your feet each time you want to increase the intensity of your workout.

Curlups/Situps- Curlups are very good for your abdominal muscles. They not only work all of your muscles at once, but also get rid of any gas you have stuck in your stomach. Now who wants that stuff stuck in there?

Reverse Curlups/Situps  – Doing situps can be hard. Plus, it can have a bad effect on your back. Now, no one wants back problems, so what could you do in place of situps? Why not try reverse situps?

Reverse situps are a lot easier on your back and head than regular situps. All you have to do is lie down on the edge of a bed or on the edge of a flat surface and lift your legs up and down. Do at least thirty reps per set to reap good results. Remember,
