Having previously written on the topic of ‘How socialism fails to recognize human nature’ it is apropos that I write on the converse topic ‘How socialism supports human nature’. I would try to define human nature as being whatever human beings do, so human nature creating its own political forms probably are actualized with the purpose of supporting at least some human interests. In the case of socialism the interests of all would be sought after rather than of a few.
The multifarious possible forms for socialism as a governing policy are probably greater than the number of possible syllogisms; 256. The temporal nature of human institutions, governments and organizational purposes and continuity is a matching phenomenality to the finite length of ordinary human lives, of the non-uniformity of education of all citizens and of the changing needs of a society to respond to empirical political and environmental challenges.
With such a broad range of possible forms of socialism is it sufficient to write as if there was just one kind of socialism that regards well or not at all well human nature? If one as a compass with 360 degrees marked on it in the old Babylonian form can it guide a Ship’s captain to a destination if he has no idea how its used and that all he has got? Socialism does have a potential for governing a social environment reasonably well given the right thinking of the populace and of its political operators. It has an equal chance of being misunderstood, of being forced with violence and repression and otherwise being eclipsed by more transcending, timeless group social behaviors that may occur in any form of government.
It is fairly rare when all of the interests of a people coincide generally such that broad agreement on the formation and criteria of governing parameters might be formed. Usually there are class, racial, gender or social differences that would arise to materially comprise dissimilar elements for the formation of a class in agreement with one another. The United States at is foundation was such a time, yet-aha! Today women, blacks and others would feel left out retroactively from being equal citizens. If they had the power to be enfranchised in 1776 would they have written the Declaration of Independence or the later Constitution differently or at all?
Socialism is a form of government that requires equal assent by all or ultimate repression of select interests of citizens that seek more
