This question has several points of view that stand on both sides of any argument. First of all we should consider that fact that the United States government still allows several unhealthy things to be marketed. They still allow cigarettes to be sold in just about any store. America has just raised the sales tax on it . Who can tell if that tax is to discourage smokers or force them to help balance the budget? If the budget is really more important that any individual's health America has authorized some suicide taxation. This doesn't seem to be a large issue but it shows how one can not truley rely on any of the folk that have gotten themselves elected.
Another point is that many people can not afford proper health care. Again one has got to ask themselves if all the folk that are adicted to harmful ways of life and or any drug rate the same amount of health care as the honest tax payers who have to work long hours just to pay some of their bills. Should''t the very rich people deserve more health care? This is a really confusing question because most of the wealthy people have gotten rich selling things that are bad for every purchaser's health. Things like television sets don't allow the watchers to keep themselves in as good shape as people their age had been before televisions came out.
When any voter starts to consider a government regulated health care plan they should use their political knowledge a bit deeper. That will allow them to understand how the American political process works. With that in their mind the voter would be able to ask themselves who actually backed every politician that supports government health care. That spark of inspiration would let every voter wonder where the majority of donations came from. The sources will allow the voter to think about how this new law would help some companies more than just the individual voter. This suspicion about who would really profit can lead to how their vote is cast in the next election.
To sum this argument up it would really help everyone to be able to see how the American government has been running the health care of veterans. That will show them that no matter how much Veterans Affairs is given it can not guarantee every veteran will be properly taken care of. It is easy to observe that not every VA hospital is really worth treating patients through. It is very obvious how some of them have made heath problems worse. Several of them are passing hepatitis C to the patients they treat. It took the veterans of that first gulf war a long time to get any treatment for the problems they had received after Iraq had sprayed them with that poisonous black gas. It should also be pointed out that all the wives of disabled veterans are not given the proper health care coverage. Veterans Affairs has a program they have named Champion Veterans Affairs or simply Champ VA. The wife have to pay to get to the VA hospital out of their own pocket no matter how far away they live or how high a percentage of disability their husband has been given. She can not even get the VA to pay for all the prescriptions she needs to stay alive with her true love. Even though a disabled veteran can get a small amount of medical help for his wife the couple has to try to make up for all the drawbacks. This example shows that the government cannot guarantee everyone will be treated properly no matter how much it requires them to pay.
