Famous songs, new words

by Stuart Kent

Created on: December 23, 2009   Last Updated: December 24, 2009

I wrote this today after watching the morning news. I am not a political zealot but you will surely see a bias in my words. It is really an amazing time to be alive given that all is going on. The opportunity to find humor is everywhere and even on just this site you can find gobs of political humor from all mindsets. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

GRANDMA GOT RUN OVER BY OBAMA

To the tune of Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer

Grandma got run over by Obama.
Jetting to his 8 mil tropic place.
You can say there’s no such thing as cloture.
But Harry Reid sure did keep up the pace.

She’d been drinking too much Kool-Aid.
And we begged her not to go.
But they stole her precious medicare.
So she went to tell Ms. Maddow she’s a.....

When they found her Christmas morning,
At the scene of the impact.
There were skid marks on her forehead
And an imprint of the flag was on her back.

Grandma got run over by Obama.
Taking off from Edward#s Air Force Base.
You can say there’s no such thing as cloture.
But Harry Reid sure did keep up the pace.

Now we’re so proud of grandpa.
He’s been taking this so well.
See him in there watching Rambo.
Drinkin’ beer and yelling  “Obama go to hell”.

It’s not Christmas without grandma.
All the family’s dressed  in black.
And we just can’t help but wonder
Can we keep the leis or should we give them back.

Grandma got run over by Obama.
Taking off from Edward's Air Force Base.
You can say there’s no such thing as cloture.
But Harry Reid sure did keep up the pace.

Now the pork is on the table.
And the goose will soon be cooked.
Maybe we’ll soon know what’s in the bill.
If Harry Reid will ever let us look.

Now I’ve warned my friends and neighbors.
On Health care I don’t know what you believe.
But they should never give the White House,
To a man who never ever wants to leave.

Grandma got run over by Obama.
Taking off from Edward's Air Force Base.
You can say there’s no such thing as cloture.
But Harry Reid sure did keep up the pace.
