From the here to the hereafter be still, be humble. From this understated position build the golden channel through which the very essence of this earthly existence can flow. For life is a balance and it's not all one way and you'll soon find your self toppling if from spirit you stray. Remember no man or woman or child are islands unto themselves and the Great Power of your making and very existence will be your energy.
Every day nature paints a new picture for you to see this power of Creation and if you remember that God is the bridge between Heaven and Earth then you can sail the sea of your dreams. Fly on the wings of peace and let the wind hold you and when you land have the courage to cross the water and walk the distant shore.
Jesus said that it was more important what came out of the mouth than what went into it, so a word lovingly spoken is like gold in the setting sun. Seek the quieter shores in this turbulent world and be at peace with your Maker, not necessarily at peace with your earthly masters; that will never happen for ego promotes deception in the false climb to the top of the new millenium's Tower of Babel.
At the break of each day let your spirit be nourished with God's gift of the sun and though you be but a speck bobbing on the Sea of Life, the light will show you the way. “Oh sun you show us your majesty and power, please bring Earth to it's senses at this crucial hour”. Nothing comes without a price and without toil and sacrifice and it's time to get in touch with God and put your hearts on the line.
Life is a delicate balance between what is good and what is not, but the simple things are priceless and of intrinsic worth and if you follow this maxim then life is really worth living. The heavens are open to our wide gaze so that we can make sense of this ordered maze. Control and self discipline is all within and outside human enforcement will only distance the object of your aim in the spiritual learning process.
God's put it in a sunset, He's put it in a breeze, His grace and gentleness are in a new born baby and for all your busy working day you might just think of the birds at play and wonder who made them so beautiful. Seek the waters of stillness and the sheltered coves, for these still waters await God's blessing at sunset. Circles of love from heaven above swirl on God's shoreline of earth.
We walk our earthl'y roads so blinkered, so full of pride and greed, what will it take dear Lord to show us what we need. Child born today maybe you can show the way by just being pure and clean and fun having no knowledge of what adults have done? When mortality awaits us we'll catch a glimpse of the Heavenly gates if we can all be as little children, as Jesus said. What of the bigger garden in which we sow our children, a garden which starts with peace and love and where everybody gives; sounds like Paradise.
Man has had a wealth of time to get his act together, instead it appears he's messed up everything including all the weather. Remember this Christmas as we celebrate the birth of the Prince of Peace and Love, that love is what we were born with and remains the greatest, single, simple gift that keeps our souls alight. God's temple is right inside you and you can make the purest life by following the clear bright light of Creation. Thank you Lord for your healing while on earth all those years ago, and now we can heal with your teachings and pray for you to come back and heal the world.
