Multilevel marketing is not more trouble than it is worth. Multilevel marketing is a booming business model that has been scrutinized since its inception into the business world. This business model is a powerful way to distribute products. Any product with mass appeal from apples to zebra skins can be sold through a system of multilevel marketing.

Is multilevel marketing more trouble than it is worth? I would beg to venture that it is not for those who are experiencing success. Did you know a percentage of the millionaires living in West Palm Beach , Florida earned their money through multilevel marketing? It is a given these individuals would tell you the trouble is worth it. It is a fact that many people fail at multilevel marketing at an alarming rate but does this mean multilevel marketing is a waste of time?

Multilevel marketing is a legitimate business. It is taught in the most respected institutions in the world such as Harvard in addition, many of the most reputable companies in the world such as Avon have use this concept to build very profitable businesses. Many people feel multilevel marketing is more trouble than it is worth because of the high failure rate and it is viewed as a pyramid scheme.

First of all business in general have a high rate of failure. Ninety percent of traditional businesses close its their doors after two years and  five to ten percent more fail after five years. Do we think traditional business is more trouble than it is worth? For the most part we don't. Why? Because it is a more acceptable form of business and we believe business is the best way to become wealthy.

The statistics tell us that about three percent of the population is considered wealthy. Ironically approximately three percent of the individuals involved in multilevel marketing are successful. This is an interesting parallel that has more to do with individuals than the business itself.

In terms of multi level marketing companies being pyramids is true. However every business, church, government organization is a pyramid. There is one individual at the top who has individuals positioned at lower levels in the organization. This is basic structure and it is not a scheme or a scam. The difference is there are illegal and legal pyramids. A pyramid that is not sanctioned by satisfying established criteria and guidelines is illegal. Usually an illegal pyramid is all about sponsoring people and soliciting money in order
