No woman is every prepared to become the single mother with three kids. Nothing tears apart a woman harder than having to raise children by herself. Although this lesson makes women stronger it sends a bad message to our boys.
What happened to the phrase it takes a village to raise a child? The young parents of today have no idea this phrase was not only said but acted on. Everyday people would pull together to make sure the kids in their neighborhood and family behaved. Now fast forward to today and you have a sea of lost male juveniles walking the streets. The only thought is to get they hustle on and do whatever to survive.
So many fathers have given up the responsibility of becoming a dad because of the blame game. The men of today will not stand up for the seed they laid down the night they were horny. All the blame and stress is put upon the mother to take care of it all. Men figure you got pregnant so you should take care of what you wanted.
Even though both are to blame its not seen that way. These guys are quick to say that the woman did it to herself and then then the father disappears. As the child grows from sweet little boy he transitions into independent protector of mom. Now they feel its up to them to provide for their mother, brother, and sisters. In the mist of all the drama and trying to hustle to get things they desire or want they almost always end up dead or in jail.
These young men grow up now hard and fearless. There is no one to show them what it takes to be a real man and how to avoid trouble and prosper in life. The whole time that they are running the streets they don't have a care in the world and are not worried about who they hurt. Boys especially need that father bonding to help them stay focused and positive. Without this vital role model their lives become complicated and confusing.
When the father walks out the door, it changes everybody's future. Nobody benefiits when there is no father in the home to provide structure and balance. Nothing can replace the love of a mother and father, helping raise their children together. Don't walk out stay in for the next round, you never know where it might lead.
