It seems so strange
How bitter ingredients
Have disappeared from our menu
Throwing the body out of balance
Weakening the immune system
Indulging the palate
Working against the balance of God
Is this not also reflected
In the views of man to suffering?
Man tries to dodge the same challenges
God puts on his path to make him grow
Preferring the sweet experiences
To the bitter and not pleasant ones
This is unbelief
Lack of faith in the all wise God

Poetry: Bitter
Let me tell you a story, sad but true,
I once new and old man that acted just like you!
Every day he would get up grumpy and
by Kaye Boss
Like a fly to a spiders web
I am stuck in your lies
I'm the prey that you feed on
The one you wish dies
I'm the butt of your
The bitter pill is hard to swallow
for it destroys within.
and like a cancer it will eat
our lives, until the end.

All of the old valour a thin, velvet exterior.
Nothing more luxurious than make believe.
Imaginary
Bitter
The sweet taste of your lips has soured on my tongue,
The bitterness of you grows as the days go on.
Your velvet
