Dream...or Message...?
Last night while I was sleeping
My dreams were interrupted
And invaded by the devil
By Satan
By Lucifer himself
I stood before him fearless
In the realm that is his home
Evenly meeting his evil gaze
My brown eyes locked with his red
I stood expressionless
He stood smiling
He wasn't red
He didn't have horns
There were no flames
There was no brimstone
He stood before me as a man
In a realm of darkness and pain
He wore the same thing I did
His hair was cut the same as mine
He wore an earring identical to mine
The smile on his face was my smile
Satan stood in the form I most dispised
He stood before me as me
As the man that I've grown to loathe
He was playing a mind game
Appearing before me in a form I hated
In an attempt to cloud my thoughts with anger
They say the devil comes in many guises
Well, he does and he's smart
He knew well the game he was playing
As we stood on in silence
Our gazes never wavering
Our eyes never blinking
I knew why he was there
I knew what he wanted to do
I knew what he wanted to say
I knew what he wanted from me
In exchange for what I most desired
"You love her," he said to me
His voice was mine, as well
It wasn't a question he spoke
He spoke an undeniable fact
My own voice caught in my throat
So all I could do was nod
"You would do anything for her."
His voice sent a chill down my spine
My gaze wavered slightly
As my body began to shiver
Again, all I did was nod
He started towards me
Gliding through the darkness and pain
Until he was nearly on top of me
His red eyes met my brown one more
His smile broadened and turned sinister
"You would give up your soul for her."
I dropped to my hands and knees
My throat was closed and my body shook
So uncontrollably I could not even nod
Tears streamed down my cheeks
As I fought for control
Satan is evil
Lucifer is evil
But I must say that he is patient
I do not know how long I remained that way
I do know it was some time before I could stand
I stood to face him once more
Taking a deep breath of the now icy air
I met his red-eyed gaze evenly
I watched his lips part in a broad grin
As my lips parted to speak
"I..."
I was suddenly cut off
The darkness and pain and icy air
All vanished without a trace
I felt myself tumbling through the air
Shooting towards a distant light
As if I was being propelled through the ocean
Towards the surface of the water
Behind me I could hear Satan's voice resounding
As he let out an angered screech
His voice carried up to me
As his single word echoed
"NOOOOOOO!"
Suddenly I was surrounded on all sides

Will they keep me prisoner or will they set me free?

"If I Can Dream"
I dream of softer lights,
laughing, carefree nights,
and a world free of strive.
I dream of smiling faces,
Fluid mercury runs down my veins
Like a moon-age day dream.
Brief, but I felt it none the less.
Breif, but where was my

The one's that always seem in doubt
The one's that are so deep down inside
That they have
