NOW FOR AN EVIL FAIRY TALE
There was once an average family that had a mom, dad and two kids. The children were in school and they studied very hard. They were taught about global warming and became very upset. Why they found out that the poor polar bears were teetering on the brink of destruction and almost extinct.
My oh my, what could they do because they were just small children. They saw a movie by the ever so concerned Al Gore and wanted to take up the cause.
Being so upset, they told their parents and were so convincing that the parents wondered what can we do that may help stop global warming and save the poor polar bears? The wonderful parents checked into what Al Gore was doing and found out they could buy some Carbon Credits that would help save the planet and the poor polar bears.
So being the ever so thoughtful parents, they bought some carbon credits and now the family was so happy because they now were saving the planet.
But then they found out that the neighbors and their children did not have any carbon credits and their little purchase did not seem to turn the tide because Al Gore was still screaming that the planet was going to burn up.
So they asked that the neighbors also buy some carbon credits to save the planet but they said that they didn’t think the planet was getting hotter because they were not hot and could not find any evidence that the planet was in danger.
Well the children stopped playing with the neighbors kids because they would not help save the poor polar bears and were therefore causing the planet to get even hotter. So the neighbors, being the good neighbors they were, decided to buy some carbon credits just to keep the neighbors happy and the children playing together. Now everything was back to happiness again.
Then the kids found out the other neighbors were not buying into the global warming thing plus they did not have any kids so now we have a problem. The neighbors were not going to help save the planet and the poor polar bears, so now what could they do to keep the neighborhood in harmony?
Well it just so happens that one of the original neighbors knew someone in city hall and took this terrible problem to the politicians to ask if they could help restore harmony to the neighborhood and the now distraught children.
The politicians came up with a great idea that they would include a small tax in everybody’s property tax and buy carbon credits. Well now the children were so happy that everyone would now
