Poetry: Dark or light?

by David Foster

Created on: December 21, 2009

Light Destroying the Darkness

Demons, Demons, everywhere.

There are too many to bear.

They attack from left to right.

Now I'm starting to lose sight.

Then I see something afar.

It looks like an iron bar.

A horse whinnies in the dark.

Then I see a small white lark.

A voice then cries out to me,

Asking if I can see.

I slowly open my eyes.

I see a light slowly rise.

The Lord did save me this day.

Demons, Demons, run away.
