Light Destroying the Darkness
Demons, Demons, everywhere.
There are too many to bear.
They attack from left to right.
Now I'm starting to lose sight.
Then I see something afar.
It looks like an iron bar.
A horse whinnies in the dark.
Then I see a small white lark.
A voice then cries out to me,
Asking if I can see.
I slowly open my eyes.
I see a light slowly rise.
The Lord did save me this day.
Demons, Demons, run away.

The stars have all fallen from the sky,
They have been sprinkled on the ground.
I can see them as I walk on by.

People want to see the light
but so many live in the dark,
feelings, they do not feel
their eyes don’t
Sometimes God's light of love rests too far below above.
God's love beckons us then to lighten our own darkness.
