Poetry: Anything for you

by Bonny Simon

Its all about walking on egg shells now,
Its all about the where and the how.
Can we do this, are we strong enough?
Can we weather the magical and the rough?

To understand, I would do infinite things,
anything to see what the new day brings.
To be touched by a voice, by a word, by a thought.
The feeling this gifts me, can never be bought.

Win or lose is not the goal,
That journey we take is part of a whole.
A whole of a lifetime or a light in the dark.
Whatever the pain, without, life is too stark.

To add not subtract, to give not receive.
To share not withhold, to go and not leave.
of all of these things, however small.
My biggest gift is that of my all.
