Home decorating on a budget can be a lot of fun that adds unique touches and eclectic flavor to what is typically a square empty room. We have all, at one time or another, lived in an apartment complex in which all the apartments were equal in dimensions and floor plan layout, but when we see how other people have chosen to furnish or decorate their unit, their unique personalities and styles make the units look and "feel" different from all the others.
A brand new home, an apartment unit, or a very old home will present unique challenges and require different approaches to decorating and furniture layout, but one thing remains constant: The dwellers budget.
Decorating on a budget requires creativity and logic. If we would love to re-create the feel and look of Victorian living, shopping for antiques is nothing but a dream when it comes to furnishing the home, but the "feel" of that era can be easily achieved with a few well chosen items, a vigilant eye and patience. Collecting pictures of what you like will usually show the first building foundation of the room: the color scheme. Once we have built the first layer we can continue to build up on it.
A lovely layer over existing carpeting or wood flooring that ties together the look we are going for by incorporating the tones or hues of the wall color or trims.
*Furniture
The look we like has been around for ever and the style of furniture remains the same throughout the generations, the only changes maybe on materials used or a difference in size, but the fact remains that a table has always been a table and the only things that make a table different from another one may be carvings, materials used (ie, solid wood, tile top, etc) or if the legs
