Un-harnessed Spirit
.
Some actions instill
A mental illusion
Of depression and
Giving up all hope.
.
Sprouts of concern
Grow and blossom into
False signals and
Peers’ minds wonder.
.
My sentence of living
The life of another
Has now been served.
I embrace being me.
.
Goodbye panty hose,
Strapped spike heels with
Sharp, pointy toes, and
Toss the executive suits.
.
No longer in the limelight
With diamonds, linen and
Lace imposed upon me,
The harness is broken.
.
Too long deprived of my
Free spirit, barefoot life,
I flourish in the pearls,
Denim and leather life.
.
Tanned leather … not rawhide!

Poetry: Return to freedom
Woodstock - 40 years on...
High on freedom's shoulders breathing revolution's air
a disillusioned generation stripped its
Freedom to think without abasement
That's my plea on this terrible night.
My mind is pressed against itself
Within the wretched
The fancy car and mortgage gone,
The credit cards all torn in shreds,
No statements now to worry on,
Just happiness and flower

On The Wings of Love & Sacrifice
by Ed Ostrom
O Lord of wondrous healing grace
Now hold my friend in Your warm embrace,
Draw her heart back O Lord to You,
Your presence
