Well, obviously it depends on the individual and the amount of intake (after a certain level you'll nearly always end up with a hangover and then you can go back to what some of the others have said, such as plenty of fluid, vitamins and patient rest), but certainly a quality vodka such as Luksusova, Moskovskoje, Bison Vodka (Zubrowka - VERY good!) doesn't normally give you a hangover - unless you mix it with other spirits, don't eat anything before going out on a binge or similar silly behaviour which we all know will inevitably lead to the morning after from hell.
Also, clear vodka (unless you're in the nasty habit of mixing it with sodas!) has actually a great variety in taste (vanilla, citrus, rosemary, herbal, fruity etc), so again, it's a bit like sampling wine - once you find what you really like stick to it and NEVER mix drinks with other alcoholic beverages (that's a shortcut to a monster of a hangover).
Enjoy!
