Christmas is almost here again. Once again it's time to exchange with our friends and relatives. Making your own Christmas gifts allows you to express your feelings for the recipients in a unique way. It also allows you to exercise your creativeness. Your homemade gift can make the person feels special.
Here are some homemade Christmas gift ideas I would like to share with you:
1. Homemade Christmas Cookies
Christmas Cookies that you baked yourself can make a good Christmas gift. You can either follow a recipe or use your creativity to produce your own. If possible, use icing to decorate your cookies with Christmas related themes. You can put your baked cookies into a box and wrapped it up as a present.
2. A Photo of some Flowers in Your Garden
Take a photo of some flowers in your garden, enlarge it to A4 size, frame it up and wrapped it as a Christmas present.
3. Homemade Jam
A bottle homemade Jam can make a great Christmas gift. Your friends who have already loved your homemade Jam will be happy to get a bottle of it on Christmas day. Even if it is the first time you are making it, you can still give it as a present to get the recipient's opinion on it.
4. Homemade Photo Frame
Use some old cardboard to make a photo frame. Tear out pieces of paper from a colorful page of old magazines and paste them around the photo frame. Wrap up the photo frame and present it as a Christmas gift.
5. Homemade CD of Traditional Christmas Carols.
Use your a MIDI software to create your own version of traditional Christmas carols, covert them into MP3s or CD audio files and burn them into a CD. To save time, you can download the carols from the Internet to be modified. Make sure you download only those in the public domain. Use a CD labelling software to design the label and the cover. Wrap up the CD case and present it as a Christmas present
6. Homemade DVD of you singing Christmas Carols.
If you can sing, but do not have a recording contract yet, you can record a video your singing of Christmas Carols with you computer and saved the video into a DVD. You need to have a microphone, a recording software, and a software to convert the video into a format playable on a DVD player. You many find such software on the Internet. You may also want to ask members of your family to join you in your singing.
Off course, there are more homemade presents one can make and the sky is only the limit. You may have more to add to the list. Have a great time making your own gifts and have a Merry Christmas.
