Love Dies Before Forever
I promised forever
On my wedding day
My heart has grown cold
Pulling me away
For many years
I faked a smile
Losing sight of me
The entire while
Time not taken
To show love and care
Left me rejected
With an empty stare
I am at the cross road
Questions abound
Love slowly dies
Hearts shut down
Time was trivial
Love has passed
My promise of forever
Just could not last
Where I went wrong
I have not a clue
I am deeply grieved
I can no longer love you

You had gone away and left me alone.
