The differences between the facts and the myths concerning the end times, lie in direct proportion to each individual, or group of individual’s, knowledge of the nature, works and purpose of the creator of the universe or; God. The ones who believe that God is a myth, and therefore His end time prophesies, are also a myth, are at one end of the debate. At the other end, are those who believe in an all powerful, all loving and all wise Heavenly Father who is the creator, sustainer and controller of the universe; and that His end time prophesies are future events guaranteed to occur.
In other words; the closer one is to the facts and truths of the God who will cause the end times to happen, the closer one will be to the facts and truths of those end times.
Since the end times are facts only to religious believers, we will not concern ourselves with those who like to think the end times are not going to happen.
The only book that has the accuracy to predict that its prophesies have, or will, come true, is the Old Testament of the Jewish and Christian bible. Since we Christians believe the New Testament is an extension of the Old Testament, we hold the total bible, and the revelation of its God, as the truest resource in considering the end times.
The bible is written in such a way that it can be interpreted truthfully only by those entrusted with its truth. Jesus confirms this when He tells us that He spoke in parables to hide the truth from anyone who was not entrusted to see it. He tells us in Matthew 11:25 “I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.” The Apostle Paul tells us in 2 Thessalonians 2:11 “God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.” Isaiah 28:18 says “the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken. Isaiah 44 says “They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand. Isaiah 28:24,25 says “Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself; That frustrateth
